Hi, I’m Su Mee. I’m an introvert and a former perfectionist. I believe that being is often more powerful than doing, and that the answer is always love. And coffee.
One of my core beliefs is that everyone is a leader, and that you have the most impact when you can be yourself. I love working with people that have the courage to learn to show up as the leader they are, share their story, and step into the light.
When I became a mother, I wanted to spend more time at home and live a more purpose-driven life. I had no idea how to do that and found a coach to help me make sense of what I wanted and work out how to make it happen.
Coaching transformed my life. It made me more aware of who I am and what I want, it gave me the confidence to stand up for what’s important to me and it gave me the courage to pursue my purpose of helping other people find their own leadership voice.
I believe that if something scares and excites you at the same time, it probably means it’s worth pursuing. I also believe that everything is easier when you add in a bit of fun. Stepping out of my own comfort zone has led me to doing (musical) improv and stand-up comedy. While public speaking and being in the spotlight used to terrify me, I now love the stage and the audience and can’t think of a better place to be.
Before I went into coaching, I worked as a trainer and change manager for international law firms for 15 years in offices across the world. What I enjoyed most about my work was building bridges between teams, and coaching people through change by giving them enough tools and confidence to make these changes work for them.
I trained and certified as a coach (CPCC) with the Co-Active Training Institute, the largest experiential coach training and leadership development organisation in the world. I am also a graduate of their 10-month Leadership programme. I am accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Outside of coaching, I run workshops on presenting with impact, and mindfulness sessions. I am a mother of two, I sing and do improv theatre. My love for the stage is reflected in the way I coach and in my experiential workshops.
