I don’t have a story.
And even if I did, it doesn’t matter because no one is interested in my story anyway.
I don’t know how to write.
I’m useless at public speaking.
I am going to say the wrong things.
I’m much better when I’m in the background supporting others.
My story doesn’t matter.
I don’t have a story.
This could be a list of limiting beliefs I have helped clients to overcome. And I have, but this list is all mine.
I shared this on social media a while ago. After posting, I went from not wanting to look at my phone at all to almost obsessively refreshing the page to see if someone, anyone, had at least put a ‘like’ on my post. It was the first time I had shared something more personal, something that wasn’t food or another pretty view.
It wasn’t until I read through the comments on my post that the penny dropped. This is part of my story.
We all have stories that can inspire others. And we all have sabotaging thoughts that hold us back from sharing them. I know I have. The question is, are you going to let your doubts and fears keep you from showing up and inspiring others? I’m not. Are you?
