Permission to Play
One of the main objectives of my Improv for Coaches course is to expand your range by playing more and thinking less about getting it right. Playing improv games helps to tap into your creativity, a place where there’s less judgement and more fun & flow.
It’s such a joy to experience the creativity of a group of amazing coaches, and I’m learning so much by leading this course too. One of the takeaways from this cohort is that we have permission to play and be creative, both in coaching and in life.
After one of our sessions, which involved a game that assigned new uses to everyday objects, one of the coaches sent me this. It’s a doodle, inspired by her object. To me, this is a piece of art. Creativity inspired by an improv game. Wow.
